Fall is one of the best seasons to go camping in. The views are spectacular and filled with color-changing trees and the air is cool and crisp, creating the perfect setting for a cozy meal around the campfire. There’s nothing better than camp foods for fall!
We’ve rounded up five of our favorite campground meals for fall and we hope you love them as much as we do! Just try not to drool over your keyboard…
1. Caramel Macchiato
There’s nothing quite like a hot cup of coffee fresh out of your tent in the morning. Use our AeroPress coffee/ espresso maker for an easy and quick espresso from anywhere, including the campsite. Adding a caramel drizzle is a yummy fall flavor everyone loves. And need something more to warm you up? Add a splash of whiskey for a buzzed caramel coffee.
2. Stuffed Grilled Apples
These yummy grilled apples are cored and stuffed with butter, brown sugar, and caramel before being wrapped in foil and grilled over the fire. They will definitely be a hit around the campfire!
3. Spicy Pumpkin & Sausage Chili
Nothing says fall quite like chili and pumpkin… and combined? Even better! Try this recipe out and let us know what you think.
4. Campfire Loaded Baked Potatoes
There’s something so comfortable in baked potatoes, right? But especially when they’re stuffed to the brim with yummy toppings like cheese, bacon, sour cream and chives. Yum! Need something to cook our potatoes on? Grab a Skottle and the Skottle Accessory Kit (includes the steam tray and steam lid) for the perfect baked potato every time!
5. Cast Iron Butternut Squash Egg Scramble
Squash is a delicious and nutritious fall favorite. Add it to an egg scramble and you’ve got yourself a hearty camp side breakfast! Scramble it up on the flat top of your new Skottle and enjoy it with the caramel macchiato recipe shared above!
