Return Policy

In the event that you are not completely satisfied with your order from Trail Industries, we accept all returns (besides final sale or clearance items) that remain in the same condition it was shipped to you in. Please contact us at with your return request. Items may only be returned within 15 days of purchasing.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Any item not in its original condition, or missing parts may not be returned.

All returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee.  Any item that cannot be re-sold as new will be charged a 30% restocking fee.

To return an item, you are responsible for return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If necessary, we suggest you insure your item through your shipping carrier as we are not responsible for items that are lost in transit and do not make it back to us.


Only returns which meet all RMA conditions and return policy requirements will be eligible for a refund. Once your returned item is received by us and approved your return will be processed, please allow up to 14 days for your refund to be applied.

Clearance, discontinued items or apparel are not eligible for return. We reserve the right to deny any refund. Products not authorized for return shall be sent back at customers expense.

Canceling an order

If the item you ordered was in stock at the time you placed your order, you will have just a few hours to cancel your order after you’ve placed it because our automated system sends it immediately to be shipped. If you need to cancel please let us know as soon as possible at (657) 478-6099. If your order isn’t in stock and hasn’t shipped, please email us at customerservice@trail-industries.comOrders that have already shipped cannot be cancelled, and you will need to begin our RMA process by emailing to have the item returned.

Defective & Warranty

Trail Industries does not offer any type of warranty coverage for defective products. However, the majority of the products available through our website are covered under a manufacturer’s warranty. Trail Industries is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages as a result of product defects.

If you have a warranty issue and wish to contact the manufacturer directly for information regarding product warranty coverage you may, otherwise please contact a member of our customer service department for assistance.

Damaged or Missing Parts

If your package was delivered to you damaged or missing any parts, please call the shipping carrier that delivered your package immediately to document the issue or concern. Then, take pictures of the damaged parts and email them to our Customer Service Department at Please include your sales order number and the name the order was placed under. Our customer service department will then contact you as soon as possible. Do not use or install any product you receive damaged. All damaged or missing parts must be reported to Trail Industries customer service within 5 Business days of delivery.

Lost or Stolen Packages

Trail Industries is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Any missing packages must be reported to Trail Industries within 24 hours following notice of delivery. We may require a 2-3 business day waiting period to account for late deliveries by the carrier before filing a missing package claim. If a package shows delivered, and feared stolen we suggest you file a police report. Trail Industries is not responsible for replacing any stolen items. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that your account has a current address and other correct contact information to ensure proper delivery or exchanges of products.
